Poems from the past pt. 6

you believed in a wise man.

I thought that you knew

who you would call saviour.

where will in the world

will I find the truth?

I was inspired to go through my journal from about a year ago and re-read some of the poems that I wrote back then. I thought it would be neat to have a week where I showcased some of my past penned poems that have never seen the light of day. To be honest, I was motivated by the “Throwback Friday” posts found on the Go Dog Go Cafe. When people ridicule

And laugh at

Or Spirituality

Manytimes they

Have not been able to see the whole

Sometime experience leaves them

But my hope is

One day

They would

To wonder about

And how he works

People might think I’m

A Fool

Or lost

In something

But I believe

In a story greater than myself

With an author

Who is creative and just

I find comfort in this story

Narration of life

I understand it might seem silly

But this poetry is real

It resonates with my soul

And I must confess

The truth

Its hard to have all the answers

So I do not pretend

That I do

Instead I read my story

The story revealed to me

And confidently

Walk into my life

Knowing this story has a

Good ending
